Cardiff, CA - Working with World Vision, a non-profit international diaster relief group, Meridian Design, Inc., donated a shipment of Aqua Star™ Portable Water Purification Systems to aid recovery efforts in the wake of the tsunami in southeast asia.

Water purification is a critical need in flood-based disasters where conventional water sources may be tainted and unusable. Because Aqua Star™ Water Purifiers are compact and portable, relief crews on the front lines can use them immediately. In many of these areas, the threat from viruses is great, and the water is often silty, making filters impractical.
